Welcome to the website of Bagenalstown Cricket Club.
Bagenalstown Cricket Club is a relatively small but very active club located in Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. At present, we have a First XI who compete in Middle A of the Leinster Cricket Leagues, a Second XI who compete in Intermediate B of the Leinster Cricket Leagues, a so-called Third XI who mainly play friendly matches, and a Youths/Colts team. The Club also competes in the Middle Cup, Junior Cup and Midlands Cup competitions. League matches take place most weekends on a home and away basis.
New players are always welcome, irrespective of cricketing knowledge or experience. Nets take place on a Thursday evening from 6.30 onwards, so if you are new to the region and would like to continue playing, or have never played before and would like to see what it is all about, come on up. You will find us quite a friendly and diverse bunch, with members originating from Ireland, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India
